1. Wie de app uitgeeft

2. Wat Mexen is

Mexen houdt de score bij van het dobbelspel Mexen. De app schenkt niets, verkoopt niets, meet niets en verplicht tot niets. Wat er aan tafel gebeurt, beslissen de spelers zelf.

3. Leeftijd

De app is bedoeld voor personen van 18 jaar en ouder. Speel je om slokken, dan geldt bovendien de wettelijke leeftijdsgrens voor alcohol in jouw land.

4. Verantwoord spelen

Drink met mate, drink nooit als je nog moet rijden, en drink niet bij zwangerschap, medicijngebruik of gezondheidsklachten. Niemand is verplicht te drinken: in de puntenmodus speel je exact hetzelfde spel zonder alcohol. Stoppen mag altijd, ook midden in een ronde.

5. Eigen verantwoordelijkheid

Je gebruikt Mexen op eigen verantwoordelijkheid. Keuzes over alcoholgebruik zijn en blijven die van de spelers zelf. De app geeft geen medisch advies en houdt geen rekening met jouw persoonlijke situatie.

6. Aansprakelijkheid

Voor zover de wet dat toestaat zijn wij niet aansprakelijk voor indirecte schade, gevolgschade, gemiste inkomsten of verlies van gegevens, en evenmin voor schade doordat de app tijdelijk niet werkt of iets verkeerd berekent.

Deze beperking geldt niet bij opzet of bewuste roekeloosheid van onze kant, niet bij dood of lichamelijk letsel, en niet in de overige gevallen waarin de wet uitsluiting of beperking verbiedt, waaronder de regels over productaansprakelijkheid. Je dwingende rechten als consument blijven onverkort gelden.

7. Gebruik van de app

Je mag Mexen gebruiken voor jezelf en je gezelschap. Namaken, doorverkopen, uit elkaar halen of de inhoud hergebruiken mag niet zonder onze schriftelijke toestemming.

8. Wijzigingen

We kunnen de app en deze voorwaarden aanpassen. De versie die in de app staat op het moment dat je hem gebruikt, is de versie die geldt.

9. Toepasselijk recht

Op deze voorwaarden is Nederlands recht van toepassing. Woon je in een ander land van de Europese Unie, dan behoud je de bescherming van het dwingende recht van je woonland.

Hulp bij alcoholgebruik

Twijfel je over je eigen alcoholgebruik of dat van iemand anders? In Nederland kun je terecht bij alcoholinfo.nl van het Trimbos-instituut, in België bij De DrugLijn. In andere landen: je huisarts of de lokale gezondheidsdienst.

2. What Mexen is

Mexen keeps score for the dice game Mexen. The app pours nothing, sells nothing, measures nothing and obliges you to nothing. What happens at the table is decided by the players themselves.

3. Age

The app is intended for people aged 18 and over. If you play for sips, the legal drinking age in your country applies as well.

4. Playing responsibly

Drink in moderation, never drink if you still have to drive, and do not drink during pregnancy, while on medication or with health problems. Nobody has to drink: in points mode you play exactly the same game without alcohol. You may stop at any moment, including halfway through a round.

5. Your own responsibility

You use Mexen at your own responsibility. Decisions about drinking are and remain the players' own. The app gives no medical advice and knows nothing about your personal situation.

6. Liability

To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost income or loss of data, nor for damage caused by the app being temporarily unavailable or calculating something incorrectly.

This limitation does not apply in case of intent or conscious recklessness on our part, nor in case of death or personal injury, nor in any other case where the law forbids exclusion or limitation, including the rules on product liability. Your mandatory rights as a consumer remain fully intact.

7. Using the app

You may use Mexen for yourself and the people you play with. Copying, reselling, taking apart or reusing its contents is not allowed without our written permission.

8. Changes

We may change the app and these terms. The version shown in the app at the time you use it is the version that applies.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you live in another country of the European Union, you keep the protection of the mandatory law of your country of residence.
